Abstinence means to refrain from or avoid any sexual activity. Truth is, in today’s world, sex can be very dangerous. The rate of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) increases every year, and despite some media portrayals, unplanned pregnancies are not fun.

Saying “no” to sex until you’re in a loving and committed marriage is the best way to a healthy, happy parenting partnership.
